LCN February 2017

LCN Febrauary Issue Out Now!

February’s dismal weather may be in keeping with the bleak mood that often characterises this time of the year, but your heart will be warmed by news of the latest edition of LCN.
It’s a great mix of coverage this month. We’ve been to Banbridge where Kelan McMichael is causing a tremendous stir with his atmospheric restaurant in a former Edwardian butcher’s shop.
And we’ve been to Magherafelt in mid-Ulster where we’ve been talking about the town’s incredible hospitality offering with Thomas Doherty, who manages a number of the venues there including Secrets nightclub.
Gin is our big ticket item this month and we’ve got lots of analysis, product news and cocktail recipes for you. This is a welcome trend that shows no sign of petering out just yet.
Chris McGowan at the wonderful Wine & Brine in Moira is our chef profile for February and we’ve been talking to Jenny Curran, whose health-orientated coffee shop on the Lisburn Road – Tony and Jen’s – is evidence of her obsession with a truly healthy lifestyle.
Don’t forget – Time is rapidly running out for us to accept your FREE entry for the LCN Awards 2017. There are only a few weeks left, so if the idea of being recognised by your peers and rewarded for your hospitality expertise at the biggest industry awards in NI appeals to you, visit lcnawards.com today and submit your details.
