LCN Mar 17
LCN March Issue Out Now!This month in LCN, we’re already looking forward to our big Gala Awards evening at the Europa in Belfast on June 2. Entries are now closed and the response this year has been overwhelming. With the battle lines drawn, the judges will now get to work and we’ll bring you the all-important shortlist as soon as we can.
We have a great mix of coverage for you in this month’s LCN. We’ve been to Ballymena where veteran publican, Eugene McKenna and his wife, Carole, are half-way through a major programme of refurbishment at two of the town’s best-known venues.
Elsewhere and Belfast developer, David Crowe has been showing us around the city centre property which he is currently refurbishing as NI’s first EasyHotel – and there’s more in the pipeline, he reveals.
Eoin O’Sullivan, the newly-arrived GM at the Culloden Estate & Spa, tells us why he feels that the current environment couldn’t be better for hotels and visitor figures in Northern Ireland.
And Enniskillen’s iconic Killyhevlin hotel takes the wraps off a £1.5 lakeside chalet development – the latest stage in a programme of ongoing improvement at the well-regarded venue.
Don’t forget, if you’d like to secure a seat at the biggest and best trade awards in Northern Ireland, then you should reserve a place at the LCN Awards 2017 now. Call Pamela Beers on 028 457 457 for details and to book your table. It’s going to be a great night..!
